Nostalgia was an afternoon of songs that make memories. On Sunday, October 26, Mr. Azar and pianist Farzin brought beloved melodies back to life at Global Link, 88 Doncaster Ave.
Nostalgia: Songs That Make Memories
Nostalgia is not only about the past. It is also about the people we share it with today. When a familiar song starts and a room sings along, strangers can suddenly feel like family. That is the feeling this afternoon was created for, with space for guests to share their own memories and favourite songs.
Some songs take us straight back to a place, a person or a time. This program was built around that feeling. It invited the audience to sing along, remember and share. Parents, grandparents and young listeners sat side by side, each hearing the same melodies through their own memories.
- Vocals by Mr. Azar
- Piano by Farzin
- Timeless Persian songs
- A warm, family-friendly atmosphere
