At Globallink Trade Hub — located at 88 Doncaster Ave, Thornhill — we have been building a hub where technology, creativity, and community come together. Here is your complete guide to Persian and Iranian events in GTA this fall 2026.

“Community is not just about gathering — it’s about growing together, learning together, and building something that lasts.”

Mehregan Autumn Market 2026

Our flagship annual event — the Mehregan Autumn Market (بازار پاییزی مهرگان) — returns for its third edition on October 10–11, 2026 at 88 Doncaster Ave, Thornhill, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This beloved event brings together local Persian and Iranian small businesses, artisans, food vendors, and performers under one roof. Focus key phrase: culture and art event.

Mehregan is one of the oldest Persian festivals, celebrating the autumn harvest and the spirit of gratitude and friendship. Bringing this tradition to Thornhill allows the Iranian-Canadian community to stay connected to their heritage while welcoming all Canadians to discover Persian culture, food, and art firsthand.

Why Thornhill is the Heart of Persian-Canadian Culture

The Greater Toronto Area, especially Thornhill, Richmond Hill, and Vaughan, hosts a large Persian-speaking community.

Additionally, Known informally as Tehranto, this vibrant community has built a rich cultural, business, and social ecosystem over decades.

From Persian groceries to centers and music schools, the GTA hosts a culture and art event that reflects Iranian-Canadian contributions.

Globallink Trade Hub was established with a clear mission: to serve as a bridge between this community and the opportunities available in Canada, bringing together education, technology, entrepreneurship, and culture in one accessible, welcoming space.
