International Day of Peace was celebrated at Global Link with a special concert on September 21, 2025. Invited by an Azerbaijani music group, guests gathered for a gentle afternoon full of beautiful melodies, calm and togetherness.
A Concert for the International Day of Peace
Every year on September 21, people around the world pause to think about peace. The United Nations dedicates the day to non-violence and ceasefire. You can learn more on the UN website.
Music is one of the simplest ways to bring people closer. It needs no translation. Marking the day with a concert was a way to let melodies speak about unity, respect and hope.

Why Global Link Hosts Events Like This
Our centre is a meeting place for many cultures. Hosting artists from different backgrounds reminds us that community is built when people share what they love, whether it is music, food or stories. When different communities celebrate together, neighbours become friends, and that is the kind of peace that starts close to home.
